I've been working hard on a new quilt recently! In a new color scheme for me, which is kind of refreshing. I never would have expected these colors to work so well together.
A lot of straight line quilting happening too.
Lots of lines left to quilt on this one. I love and hate straight line quilting all at the same time :)

ReplyDeleteTalk about intrigue. I want to see how all those colors worked together too :-)
ReplyDeleteLooking good Holly. I love straight line too, it's so very effective on solids. Loving these colors together and anxious to see what you've got there!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are beautiful together, and your quilting looks amazing! Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI'm always interested in the quilting. What thread did you use? Stitch length?
ReplyDeleteAurifil 40wt, stitch length 3.20 :)
DeleteI understand that love/hate relationship. I used straight line quilting in a small lap quilt last year. Looks great but took forever!
ReplyDeleteHolly, what is the fabric you used for this quilt? I am looking for a solid with some texture.
ReplyDeleteThese are Freespirit solids!
