10 dresden stitching.

2.07.2014

I've been working on a new quilt the past few days!  I'm loving the more muted color scheme compared to my usual quilts.
I started with most of the fabrics from Tule, along with Up Up & Away from Skinny la Minx.  Added in a few fabrics from Botanics and Koi, among others, and this stack was born.

I decided to stitch up some dresden plates, and I'll be using these in the four corners of the quilt I think.
I'm using my favorite Botanics print as the background fabric.  I just love the subtle metallic gold!
I've got one more to make, and then I'll start cutting for the rest of the quilt.
Planning to make a few scrappy strips to go through the middle of the quilt.  I'm excited to see the rest of it come together!

  6. Stunning! I love Dresdens! Planning to make one myself later this year. Finally going to break into my carefully hoarded Terrain fabric.
