16 nicey jane patchwork quilt.

9.08.2010

I think this is one of my favorite quilts that I've made so far.  The colors and prints make me so happy!
The back is a random mix of half square triangles and some Kona Medium Pink and Kona White .
Quilted in straight lines about 3/8" from the edges of each square.
The binding is Kona Medium Gray.  You all know how much I love a gray binding!
I had plans to list this one, but little Alaina Rose melted my heart and I couldn't help but to give it to her instead.  Can you blame me?
I didn't think so.  I have all the squares cut out to make another one, and I swear that the next one is going in the shop!

  7. GREAT colors! I love how a simple quilt pattern can look so un-fussy (is that even a word?)- and using straight lines for the quilting pattern adds the perfect amount of interest :)

    Nice job!

  10. Aah, so I love all three of your quilts- striped, circles, and this one! I think I'll make this one for my friend's baby... I've been going back and forth about which one to make and after fabric shopping, I think this will have to be the one since I have so much fabric to use now! :) Do you mind telling me what the dimentions are and what size the squares are? Love how you've quilted the top! Thanks so much for the inspiration!!

  11. I think the squares are all 5" if I remember correctly, so finished size of each square is 4.5". That would make the whole quilt approx. 54" x 68".
