8 bright stripes.

8.03.2011

Here's what I've been up to this week...a bright and simple quilt for a baby boy!  It's amazing how fast I can whip one of these up now compared to this time last year.
Made with almost all Kona solids, with just one print to make it say "baby" (Alexander Henry Teeny Tiny Zoo).
Backed in Kona Charcoal, which contrasts nicely with the white thread I used for straight line quilting.
Bound in Alexander Henry Heath in Steel Gray, which I am now out of.  Must buy more of this print soon!
Now it's off to one of our friends who just had a baby!

  2. I am new to commenting on blogs. I just have to say, your quilt is one of the cutest I have seen. I love the simplicity of it, but how it screams "Boy" at the same time. Love it!!!1

  6. That's just the kind of quilt that I would have been happy to receive. Seconding the Heath restock! I'm running low too..
