I'm the first commenter, really?? How often does the first one get picked? Uh, never. Oh well... I have seen so many people make some absolutely amazing things with their Go! Baby cutters. I love the tumbler block and can really see the benefits for circle and HST cutting. I'd so love one of these...
ReplyDeleteI would love this to use up my ridiculous amount of scraps!! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteId use my cutter to make more fun shapes for charity quilts - its so tedious cutting out so many shapes so I end up usually just doing plain squares. This would be a great way to make more interesting quilts :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I would love to try it! Hmmm... fall means apple picking and pumpkin pie. Yum! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
I live in New England so am looking forward to the leaves, apple picking, crisp weather -- I love the Fall!
ReplyDeleteI would like to get started quilting, but do not have the patience to cut perfect shapes! Thanks and hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd probably use it to finally make a tumbler quilt. I just don't have the patience to cut out all the blocks. Nor do I have faith in my ability to be precise with angles.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to make cutting easier! I would love it for HST or circles or even appliqués! Thanks for the chance! :)
ReplyDeleteI would use the go cutter to try my hand at a tumbler quilt. I am looking forward to going apple picking in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI would love it because I do not have a steady cutting hand at all and think it would be great for all shapes! I could learn to make so many unique quilts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting such a great giveaway1 A baby Go would be so helpful and fast to cut shapes for our guilds charity quilts. Just thinking of all the happy faces makes me smile.
ReplyDeletewell, i love fall and i would make everything with it...anything quilted!! would love it so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a fantastic day, something dh and i thought was a never ever is now on the cards as a maybe! wooo hooo! I don't think it can get any better, but just in case I'm going to enter! I'd love a go, I have to many little scraps that i need to turn into something. This would help with the cutting immensely.
ReplyDeleteThis is on my buy list eventually so I can make a double wedding ring, but I wouldn’t mind winning one instead!
ReplyDeleteBut I also want it to help manage my scraps, so that I can cut them into useful shapes instead of all manner of odd polygons.
I would use it cut irregular shapes that might otherwise be a bit intimidating to do en masse for a quilt. Also, I sort of cut my finger open with my rotary cutter on Monday night and had to have 8 stitches, so it might be a little while before I use a rotary cutter again.
ReplyDeleteI would use this to make things for all my friends' babies. :) And hopefully one day my own.
ReplyDeleteThese things are so cool. I'd use it for cutting quilt pieces & for appliqués. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy for cutting fabric of course! :) I so want to make a circle quilt of some sort and this would help tremendously! Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteI would love to use the cutter to make HSTs go faster and maybe finally try some hexagons.
ReplyDeleteknottygnome@gmail.com
I've been starting, then stopping work on my first quilt for ages, so I think perhaps a new gadget would be an inspiration to sit down and make this thing happen!
ReplyDeletei'd use it to make a big, colorful patchwork quilt!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to use the cutter for my scraps and I can't wait for the cooler weather this fall! And the changing leaves. And pumpkins. And Halloween, my husband's birthday, my birthday, and my anniversary. I love fall :)
ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome give away. I'd use my GoBaby to get some of the unusual shapes for applique and some other harder to cut shapes. I just love them all.
ReplyDelete(creationsbyuli at gmail dot com)
Thanks for the giveaway. I am looking forward to cooler weather and the fall activities.
ReplyDeleteWow, I could think of so many uses for this, but mostly, I think I'd use it for unusual shapes, something that would be hard to cut with my ruler. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI see the pile of scraps being transformed into tumbler blocks!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to make quilts for all of my friends who are preggers!
ReplyDeleteI see lots and lots of wonderful baby quilts.
ReplyDeleteI have a TON of scraps and bits of fabric from our wedding that I've been meaning to turn into a quilt. They're all oddly shaped, and mostly small. I'd use this to turn those awkward pieces into something beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am having a nice day & I hope you are too! I would use this together with my sister & my daughter to make all kinds of gifts! It looks wonderful. Thank you for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a blog, but my sister does if you need an address?

The quilt I would with this Go! cutter would be "Nanna's Garden" or what the octogon shaped garden quilt is called. My mother made one for me in my early twenties. I watched her mark and cut the pieces by hand with a cardboard shape. Now it is my turn to make one in her memory.

ReplyDeleteI would go half square triangle crazy!!
ReplyDeletemichellecure@hotmail.com
Oh my gosh, I can't even tell you how fabulous a Go! cutter would be. I can do just about everything else quilting-wise, but for some reason cutting just isn't my skill. I am a TERRIBLE cutter, and I feel horrible every time I ask my mom to come help me out on a new project. Winning this would make my life (and my mom's) so much easier!

ReplyDeleteWhat I'm looking forward to about fall is LESS HUMIDITY! I live in the SW, and this is our "monsoon" season so we're quite humid. I don't handle heat well, and do even less well with both heat and humidity (I know, whine, whine). It just saps all my energy when I should be making lots of projects. Also we tend to wait until the rains settle down to do our fall camping which is my favorite time of the year.
ReplyDeletethanks!
Living in Dallas, I am looking forward to rain, lots and lots of rain. And temps below 100 degrees. Fall cannot come quickly enough!!!!! : )

ReplyDeleteI am not gonna lie, I want one of these so freaking bad. It would be crazy awesome if I won one! The day I win won would even be as aawesome as yesterday was when I found a pair of vintage Salvatore Ferragamo shoes at one of my favorite consignment/thrift stores for less than $50. Serious, I did a happy dance in the middle of the store and people thought I was a bit touched in the head, but I didn't care. I think that happy dance would see the light of day again if I could somehow manage to win this baby too!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this of course. My day is going great. I am getting ready for a trip to Kelowna BC to see my best friend and attend her daughter's wedding. Thanks for asking
ReplyDeleteI have a ton of Go! ideas but I think I'd start with a tumbler quilt. Always wanted to make one but cutting is not my favorite part. Thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteI'd love this :D
