9 cotton.

9.09.2011

Did you know that the traditional wedding gift for a second anniversary is cotton?  Perfect time to stitch up a quilt for your wonderful husband, don't you think?

Obviously it's not finished yet (I have a broken sewing machine to thank for that!), but it will be soon!  Block  design based on Thea's Puzzle Quilt from Amy Butler.  Download the free pattern here.

Happy Friday!

  5. Oooh, I really love this. I hope I someday develop an "eye" to put fabrics like that together. I love how it looks but would never see that looking at bolts in a quilt shop.

  6. Very good excuse, Holly! And, of course, I like how it's coming along. You always have such great fabrics. There are several there that I don't recognize.
