30 be inspired.

8.31.2012

I finished my dresden mini quilt this week!  I'm really happy with how this one turned out.
I used my Fabric Fiesta blogger bundle (now sold out, sad!) to make this one, along with Kona Mint for the center.  The center is embroidered with coral Cosmo floss and some white perle cotton to outline the "Inspired".  Satin stitch takes forever, but I finished in just a few nights while watching tv!
I quilted it with straight lines coming out from each dresden piece, it kind of looks like rays of sunshine to me!
It's backed in some Painter's Canvas in Sage.
I had absolutely no direction for this quilt when I started, but in the end, I think it gives off a great little message!
I'm in the process of making some prints of this quilt, so I'll share more details about that soon :)  Maybe you'd be interested in hanging one up in your sewing room?

Hope you all have a nice weekend!
