Hi there!  I woke up this morning to a thermometer reading -13 degrees outside and a broken heater inside.  Not fun!  I hope you are all staying warmer than I am :)

Today I have an awesome giveaway from Bobbie Lou's Fabric Factory!  You should check out Chelsea's shop, she has a great selection of fabrics to choose from.

Now for the giveaway!  The winner will get their choice of 20 fat quarters from Bobbie Lou's Fabric Factory!  To enter, simply leave a comment on this post.  Tell me what your favorite hobby is other than sewing!  Or anything else you feel like sharing.  Followers get an additional entry by leaving an additional comment.  Please make sure to leave an email address so I can contact the winner.  I'll choose the winner on Monday (3/3)

    I love planning birthday parties for my three boys. They seem to get more elaborate and over-the-top each year! As soon as I finish throwing the third (three birthdays in 2 months), I start picking the theme and planning for the next year.

    I love to bake! I enjoy getting something in the oven, and while it's baking, I can work on my sewing projects :)

    My hobby is remodeling houses. I buy one that really needs a makeover and spend about six months working on it. I love tearing it apart, find bargains on replacement items and creating something new. I love my power tools! It's kind of like quilting, I find a bargain on fabric, create something new, always end up ripping at least one seam out and I get to use a different kind of power tool, my sewing machine.

    My other favorite hobby is putting jigsaw puzzles together. I think that's probably why I took up quilting, because it seemed like putting together a puzzle, only with fabric!

    First of all: I hope your heat will start functioning soon! Pile on those quilts, trying not to freeze! I'll just pretend that sewing, stitching, quilting, etc.... is just the one hobby. It is for me anyway. I also love to read and I am part of a foundation doing charity work in The Gambia. Which is sort of a hobby. My pets also take up some time. So loads of hobbies here!
