We had a little get together at our house to celebrate last night with lots of good friends and wonderful food. All was well minus the 2 hour power outage! Luckily the lights came back on in time to ring in the new year!
I made some crepe paper chandeliers to make our house feel a little more festive, and while most of the guys at the party made fun of me for them, I still think they're pretty cool!
We got a little extreme with the decorating and decided it was necessary to paint the living room before the party. Even though it was a lot of work (including 4 coats of paint on the ceiling...don't ask), I am in love with the way it turned out (the gray is Behr Pewter Ring).
I'm so happy we have the rest of the weekend to relax.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2011!
