6 friday.

8.17.2012

I am so happy that it's Friday today!  Here's a small peek at something I've been working on this week.
Of course I ran out of thread after deciding to use some of the fancy stitches on my machine, but I've restocked and I'm back to quilting.  This Nursery Versery cheater print makes the perfect wholecloth quilt!  I'm hoping to sneak in a little sewing this weekend to finish this one up.

If you're looking to do some retail therapy this weekend, Pink Castle Fabrics is having a huge sale!  Whipstitch is also liquidating their inventory, offering 30% off the entire shop with the code LIQUID.  I just picked up a bundle of Chicopee earlier this week and am eagerly looking forward to its arrival.  I'm also trying very very hard to resist Field Study and Indie, and have added them to my cart and closed the window more times than I'd like to admit.  Add in those anchors and stripes from Out to Sea, and this whole week has been a huge test in willpower for me!  I think a little destash might be in order so I can justify adding more fabric to my already packed shelves.  I'll be sure to post here if that happens.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I may or may not have (ok fine, definitely did) buy far too much fabric from the Whipstitch liquidation... and now you're telling me about another sale?! Enabler! ;)

  6. What a cute idea with the stitching! Will look forward to seeing the finish =). Look at our friend Amanda caving and buying both collections. I might be envious of her lack of self control. But, really, I've got to figure my way to some soon too. I just can't decide which one I want most...
