8 Charm Pack Cherry Quilt.

2.24.2014

I had the opportunity to make a quilt using Fat Quarter Shop's latest free quilt pattern, Charm Pack Cherry recently.  This quilt uses 4 charm packs so there is minimal cutting.  It's really quick to make and great for beginners.
I chose to use Happy Go Lucky and Bella Solid White charms to make my quilt.

I quilted it in rows of loops, which was fun.  It's nice to practice my FMQ now and then!

The quilt is about 52 x 54", so a small lap size.
I bound it in Happy Go Lucky Lime Jump, and I love the look of the bias stripe without actually cutting it on the bias!
There are several squares leftover in the charm packs after piecing the front, so I used them to make a little patchwork on my quilt back.
The main backing print is Happy Go Lucky Gray Bloom.

Jackson seems to like it!  He has good taste :)
