I love making these striped quilts, the cutting is therapeutic because it doesn't require much thought (perfect after a long day of work). Plus it allows the fabrics to really be the focal point of the design. I love how the colors came together in this one, I wasn't sure they were going to work at first.
The back is pieced with a little "X" marks the spot! Now all we need is a treasure map (and a treasure, does anyone want to donate?).

Straight line quilted as usual, I will never tire of the look of this quilting.
This one is off to the lovely Brit. I hope the baby boy she gifts it to takes it on lots of adventures!
